How we handle...

Spiders

Spiders, known for their varied sizes and web-building habits, include both beneficial and potentially harmful species. While some, like the common house spider, contribute to pest control, others pose risks with venomous bites. Ranging from a few millimeters to a leg span of up to 12 inches, spiders can vary widely in size. Despite the majority being harmless and even helpful, a subset of venomous species requires caution due to their potential to cause health issues.

FAQ

We HIGHLY recommend our Double Diamond service when dealing with brown recluse spiders. This service begins with a comprehensive initial treatment that focuses on known fiddleback living areas

Brown recluse spiders, also known as a fiddleback, range in color from light tan to dark brown. They have a “violin marking” on their back, hence the name fiddleback. Their bodies don’t grow much bigger than 1⁄2 inch with its legs extended.

“Recluses” prefer to be in areas where they won’t be disturbed. They can be found in dry, hidden spaces such as, in attics, dry basements, closets, shed or barns, woodpiles, shoes, and boxes of stored items.

From our professional experience, we’ve noticed it may take up to 2 years of recurring service to eradicate fiddleback spiders. These spiders are experts at finding hard-to-reach areas making it difficult to get rid of them. Because of this, and the potential health threat, treatment is best performed by the professionals at Royal-T.
